GENLOU SUN教授是教育部“海外名师”，具有丰富的科研教学阅历，先后在中国、以色列、瑞典、日本和加拿大等国家从事科学研究和教育工作，是国际知名的植物进化和遗传学家，长期从事植物细胞遗传学，分子遗传学，分子生物学，及功能基因组研究及教学工作。GENLOU SUN教授也具有丰富教学经验，长期在国内外大学教学一线开展本科生和研究生的教学工作。GENLOU SUN教授是加拿大新斯科舍省（Nova Scotia）华人协会主席、华人教授主席。GENLOU SUN教授积极参与中加国际合作与交流，为中加科技合作交流做了大量卓有成效的工作。
Professor GENLOU SUN is the international well-known plant evolution and geneticist. Professor GENLOU SUN also has rich teaching experience. He has been teaching undergraduate and graduate students over 30 years. Professor GENLOU SUN is the President of the Nova Scotia Chinese Association and the Chair of Chinese Professors. Professor GENLOU SUN has actively participated in the international cooperation and exchanges between China and Canada, and has done a lot of work for the scientific and technological cooperation and exchanges between China and Canada.
